"I was moved by the testimony of my friend Chékéba Hachemi, who is now treasurer of Stand Speak Rise Up! i wanted to get involved alongside H.R.H. the Grand Duchess of Luxembourg to take part in this work of reconstruction, to fight against indifference and the trivialisation of sexual violence.

In addition to the personal and integral dimension of my commitment, as CEO of the Baverez Group, I also wanted the Hotels Regina, Raphael and Majestic to make a commitment to Stand Speak Rise Up! The Baverez Group welcomes guests from the four corners of the world, with different customs and traditions, but all united by a shared commitment to peace and human dignity. We're convinced not only that our message about the fight against war crimes will resonate with our guests, but also that there will be more of us to raise awareness. The more we talk about it, the more we will be able to combat this scourge. "

About Stand Speak Rise Up!

Founded in 2019 by Her Royal Highness the Grand Duchess of Luxembourg, Stand Speak Rise Up! is an association dedicated to the fight against sexual violence in conflict zones. Its main objective is to support survivors of such violence and their children born of rape. The association finances and runs projects throughout the world, aimed at providing medical and psychological assistance, as well as social and economic reintegration for victims.

Stand Speak Rise Up! aims to create a world where survivors of sexual violence can live in peace and with dignity. The association implements global initiatives to combat stigmatisation and provide holistic support. This includes specialist medical care, ongoing psychological support and vocational training programmes to help survivors rebuild their lives.

Stand Speak Rise Up! has received several international awards for its outstanding work, including honourable mentions from the UN and various humanitarian organisations for its significant impact in the fight against sexual violence in conflict zones.

INITIATIVES AND PROJECTS

Medical and Psychological Assistance: Offering care tailored to the needs of survivors, including treatment for physical and mental trauma.

Economic Reintegration: Providing training and economic opportunities to help survivors become self-sufficient.

Awareness-raising and Advocacy: Raising awareness among the public and political decision-makers about the seriousness of sexual violence in conflict zones and advocating for political and legal changes.
